What is a relay board and why use one

The DR2 digital relay board is rated to switch two no. 10 amp circuits. It has a volt free, normally open/closed contacts. You would want this typically to operate non-dimmable loads (electronic blinds, curtains, shutters, any other suitable power circuit) as part of a scene.
